The Mastery Week: Holistic Wellness & Tactical Defense
Join us at World Martial Arts Center / Happykicks for an immersive, week-long seminar designed to bridge the gap between long-term holistic wellness and high-level practical defense. Whether you are building an internal foundation for longevity or mastering tactical shielding, this comprehensive program offers specialized training for the mind and body.
Attendees may register for the full week or select specific daily sessions.
Friday: The Internal Foundation
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
The Master Mindset (Category 1): Opening lecture on the keys to success, health, and fulfillment. Establishing the "Warrior-Scholar" mindset and state of being.
Ki Breathing Skills & Methods for Longevity (Category 2): Introduction to internal energy and how to train for the long game (ages 50–90). Includes the "Bio-Hacking" discussion on superfoods, environmental toxins, and defense against the top five health threats (heart attack, stroke, cancer, diabetes, and chronic lower respiratory diseases).
Saturday: The Striking & Classical Arts
Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Kicking & Lower Body Development (Category 3): High-level, custom mechanics tailored to your body type, featuring practical applications for combat and long-term structural strength.
Plum Blossom Palm (Category 4): A deep dive into discovering your personal top five vital hand skills. This builds on the precision developed through the web of deflecting, blocking, and capturing an opponent's attacks.
Ropestick Skills (Category 5): Introduction to the 21 strikes of the ropestick and its unique defensive utility.
Sunday: Modern Defense & Tactical Shielding
Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Gun Defense Matrix (Category 6): High-stakes technical training for modern threats.
Bodyguard & Partner Defense (Category 7): Protecting others. This session applies the "Matrix" concepts from the previous block to third-party protection scenarios.
Cane, Walking Stick & Umbrella Skills (Category 8): Translating defensive principles into everyday, legal "environmental" weapons.
Monday: The Edge - Part I
Time: 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM
Basic Knife Defense (Category 9): An intensive workshop covering defenses 1 through 25. The goal is to build a reflexive "alphabet" of movement against an edged weapon.
Tuesday: The Edge - Part II
Time: 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM
Dagger Skills (Category 10): Understanding the weapon from the "Warrior Class" perspective to better defend against it.
Advanced Knife Drills (Category 11): Moving beyond the basics into high-speed flow and pressure testing when the only option left is survival.
Wednesday: The Refined Warrior
Time: 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM
Fan Skills (Category 12): Exploring the traditional fan as both a distraction and a striking tool. This session emphasizes hardened tactics and the element of surprise.
Longevity Check-in: A brief revisit to Ki Breathing to help recover from the intensity of the previous days.
Thursday: Integration & Empowerment
Time: 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM
Multi-Weapon Integration: Scenarios combining the various tools learned throughout the week (Cane, Fan, Ropestick) against diverse threats.
The Fulfillment Review: Final closing lecture on mindset and how to carry these "Mastery" skills into daily life for long-term happiness.
