Assistant Instructor Jaron

Assistant Instructor Jaron started training at the WMAC in 2019 and earned his 1st Dan Hubae in 2024. He has been an assistant instructor for the children and adult classes since 2023. Jaron studied kempo karate in his youth - earning his 2nd Dan black belt. He also wrestled throughout high school and spent several years studying Wushu and Tai Chi. His favorite aspects of his personal training are self-defense techniques and weapons forms. Jaron enjoys teaching others and contributing to their development as martial artists - both in their physical technique and also supporting their involvement and role in the WMAC's vibrant community. Jaron holds a B.S. in Actuarial Science from the University of Connecticut and works as an actuary in employer health plan consulting in Manhattan.
