Certified Instructor Isabel

Certified Instructor Isabel, a 2nd Dan Hapkido instructor born in Germany, has been practicing HapKiDo with Sabumnim Herbert since 1999 and began teaching in 2003. She works as a Program Manager in Digital Marketing and is currently training to be a Somatic Therapy and Mindfulness Coach.

What she loves most about teaching at World Martial Art Center is witnessing the visible growth in each student and learning so much through the act of teaching.

Her focus is the co-emergence of body and mind and awareness of present-moment experiences. Hapkido is far more than a physical practice; it is a path to cultivating the whole person.
