Learn how to meditate from authentic scriptural sources in the Buddhist and Yoga traditions. Each week, WMAC Kristin Walsh will present a new mediation and share techniques she perfected over a 1000 day meditation retreat she recently completed in an isolated mountain cabin.

Learn ancient, time-tested techniques and ideas to change your life, and three transformative meditations (one per class):

*1. Clearing Obstacles • October 12 * Learn to clear deep-rooted obstacles that are holding you back through techniques including a powerful, 20-minute letting go meditation.

*2. Expanding Love • October 19 * Learn a foundational meditation from the Buddhist and Yoga lineages for developing a loving heart that you can practice for the rest of your life, no matter what your faith.

*3. Entering Wisdom • October 26 * Using techniques of analytical meditation, we can delve beneath the surface of conventional reality. Learn the first three things to realize in meditation to enter wisdom.

While single classes may be taken, all three are recommended. As a whole, they cover the three principal paths necessary for deep transformation: leaving behind what binds you; expanding love for others; and investigating the nature of reality.

Kristin Walsh is a second-degree black-belt who trained for a decade at the World Martial Arts Center. She is very excited to return to her home center and challenge students in our community to meditate for 12-20 minutes for 21 days *
